This is the closing document of the Emergence Canvas Model research programme. It is not a technical derivation paper. It is a final narrative—a summary of what has been built, why it holds together, and where the journey ends. What This Document Does It tells the story of a universe built from eight primitive concepts. Four moving: Order, Amplitude, Acceleration, Polarity. Four still: Chirality, Dimension, Angle, Charge. Together, they form a canvas. The canvas is not space. It is not time. It is the pre-geometric substrate on which everything else is painted. The moving primitives oscillate with periods 5, 3, 2, 7. They lock into these values because they are the four smallest primes—the minimum product of any four coprime periods that keeps the universe synchronized. The product is 210. Every subset of primitives has a period that divides 210: two alone gives 2, two and three gives 6, two, three, and seven gives 42, all four gives 210. The entire structure is phase-locked. When moving primitives intersect and their product exceeds a threshold, something snaps into existence. That snapping is the single fundamental event. It is the only mechanism the universe has. A particle is a closed loop of primitive wave. Amplitude and Acceleration crossing threshold gives a fermion. Adding Order gives a heavier generation. Adding Polarity gives a still heavier one. The generation hierarchy is the hierarchy of periods: 6, 42, 210. A spacetime voxel is a closed loop of Space and Time crossing threshold. The set of all voxels is the lattice of spacetime. Movement is transfer from one voxel to the next. The maximum speed is \ell_P/\tau = c. The horizon area holds 4\pi R_H^2/\ell_P^2 \sim 10^{122} bits—the finite information capacity of the observable universe. Gravity is lattice compression. Mass compresses the voxels around it. An object hopping through the lattice bends toward the compressed side. General relativity is the continuum limit of this lattice geometry. Curvature is bounded at the Planck scale; singularities do not form. Measurement is a threshold crossing. The Born rule follows from Rice's formula. Decoherence is phase averaging. Quantum mechanics is the effective description of deterministic threshold dynamics on a discrete lattice. The Standard Model Lagrangian is a projection. The real action lives on a 2D canvas—one direction for sequence, one for extension. The 3+1 spacetime we see is an emergent lattice of voxels. The numbers match because they are not tuned. 1/5 appears in gauge normalization, CKM, and PMNS mixing because all trace to 2+3=5. 2/3 appears in gauge coupling ratios because the projection integral gives it. \theta_{13} = \arcsin(1/(3\sqrt{5})) because the spatial dimension (3) and the gauge subspace sum (5) are the only numbers available. The waveform asymmetry (\sqrt{\pi}-\sqrt{2})/(\sqrt{\pi}+\sqrt{2}) enters the CKM phase, the PMNS phase, and the baryon asymmetry. Dark energy density is 3/(3+\sqrt{2}) because space dimensions and time dimensions are counted with the right RMS factor. The spectral index n_s = 0.9649 matches Planck to 8.5 parts per million. The strong CP angle is zero by horizon topology. Protons are stable by primitive conservation law. Supersymmetry and axions are absent because there are no such primitives. Extra dimensions are absent because Dimension is fixed at three. A fourth generation is absent because the 3\times3 threshold tensor has exactly three eigenvectors. Dark matter is Planck-mass black hole remnants from the pre-voxel epoch. The electroweak hierarchy is not a hierarchy problem—the Higgs VEV scales as the fourth root of the age of the universe. The arrow of time follows from the waveform asymmetry. The universe is flat because there was not enough information at the Planck epoch to specify curvature. The whole is a single coherent structure. Eight primitives. One threshold. Everything else follows—particle physics, gravity, quantum mechanics, cosmology. The numbers match because they come from the same few sources: 3 dimensions, 5 from gauge subspace sum, \pi/2 from orthogonality, 1 from chirality, 2 from SU(2). The five geometric numbers. Why This Matters This document is the intuitive scaffolding for a research programme that has been developed over many papers. It is not a proof. It is a vision—a coherent picture of a universe built from a small set of primitives, where the numbers of physics emerge from geometry rather than from arbitrary inputs. The Canvas Model proposes that the Standard Model is not fundamental. It is a projection of a simpler 2D dynamics. The gauge groups, generations, mixing angles, mass hierarchies, cosmological constants, and quantum probabilities all follow from the same few sources. No free parameters. No fine-tuning.
