Noise classification of land transport infrastructure — noisy sector — PUY-DE-DÔME — 2014

The data is the numerical representation of the noise-affected sector as set out in the noise classification order for inland transport infrastructure provided for in Article L571-10 of the Environmental Code (CDE). It’s a surface layer. The prefectural decree for the sound classification of the ITTs in force dates from 9 January 2014 and is available at: http://www.puy-de-dome.gouv.fr/les-infrastructures-de-transport-a3707.html Article R571-33 of the CDE states that ‘The identification and classification of land transport infrastructure shall cover roadways whose average annual daily traffic, or provided for in the impact assessment of the infrastructure project, is more than 5,000 vehicles per day, interurban rail lines providing an average daily traffic of more than fifty trains, as well as lines on own-site public transport and urban railway lines with an average daily traffic of more than 100 buses or trains’.
