We applied different fertilizer strategy including chemical fertilizer, organic fertilizer, and bio-organic fertilizer (Trichoderma) under a crop rotation system (Maize-Cabbage-Potato) in a two years field experiment in Nantong city, China.

Field experiment was performed in a randomized complete block design (3 independent replicates, the 4 replicate combine the 3 independent replicates plots as a whole one), the fertilizer treatments were: 1) CF treatment: soil amended with chemical fertilizer; 2) OF treatment: soil amended with organic fertilizer and 3) BOF: soil amended with organic fertilizer plus Trichoderma guizhouense NJAU 4742. At the harvest season of each crop (Maize-Cabbage-Potato in time-series), we collected the soil samples including the bulk soil and rhizosphere of each crop from the field experiments. 4 Bulk soil samples were collected before the experiments started (2015-04). Sampling time: 2015-09: collected Maize samples (first year); 2015-12: collected Cabbage samples (first year); 2016-05: collected Potato samples (first year); 2016-08: collected Maize samples (second year); 2017-01: collected Cabbage samples (second year); 2017-05: collected Potato samples (second year).
