Diffuse Horizontal Irradiation (DHI) long time average (2004-2011) of yearly diffuse horizontal irradiation in kWh/m^2. with the integration of shadow effects due to surrounding relief. Geotiff map. Resolution 30 arcsec (~ 1 km). 24-bit RGB encoding with attached legend. The Solar Med Atlas (http://www.solar-med-atlas.org) project brings solar resource data with 1-km resolution, representing the period of the last 20 years for a region, covering the countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestinian National Authority, Syria, Tunisia, and Turkey.
