VPRS 15885 General Correspondence - Avalon Airfield (Lara) Project (GRS 281)

The correspondence relates to the construction of a new airfield at Lara. The airfield was to become known as Avalon Airfield. Specifically, it relates to the construction of runways, taxiways and aprons. Those facilities were constructed by the Geelong Division of the Country Roads Board.
