Tumor tissue TD nuclear expression

The current database is comprised of 54 RCC histological samples, out of a recent (2016/2017), consecutive RCC series (90 cases), as provided by Arad County Hospital, Urology and Morphopathology Department. All patients have undergone partial or radical nephrectomy directly, without any neoadjuvant systemic therapy. The study population inclusion criteria imposed mandatory presence of healthy renal tissue in the immediate proximity of the tumor on HE staining. We collected available clinical data on all cases, namely: age, sex, TNM stage at diagnosis and its individual components (pT, cN and cM). Conventional pathological parameters were reevaluated (RCC subtype and Fuhrmann grade), then TD-targeted IHC staining was performed using human skin as an external positive control. Tumor tissue TD nuclear expression is quantified categorically, quantitatively, qualitatively and globally. Adjacent healthy renal tissue TD nuclear staining localization patterns are included.
