Effect of autologous fat grafting on Localized Scleroderma (morphea)

Localized scleroderma (LoS), or morphea, refers to a group of rare autoimmune connective tissue diseases. Autologous fat grafting was able to correct volume loss in patients with LoS to improve facial disfigurement.However, whether it could exert a positive effect on reversing skin sclerosis remains unclear. Overall design: 3 patients diagnosed with morphea received sequential fat grafting of autologous fat and cryopreserved stromal vascular fraction (SVF)-gel. Trancriptome analysis of lesional skin samples was compared before and 12 months after treatment.A total of 6 RNA-seqs were performed.
