Haemophilus influenzae 3655. Strain 3655 is a non-typeable Haemophilus influenzae (NTHi) isolate obtained through the courtesy of Drs. Allen Ryan, Asa Melhus, Robert Munson, Steve Barenkamp, and Tessa Gardner. This isolate was obtained from the middle ear effusion of a child in Missouri with acute otitis media (AOM). Sequenced and assembled using technology developed by 454 Life Sciences, Inc. (www.454.com). The genome sequence is currently comprised of 59 contigs, and has been sequenced to a depth of 25X.
