Using quality-controlled BGC-Argo chlorophyll profiles over the North Pacific, thestudy evaluates the vertical chlorophyll structure of nine CMIP6 biogeochemicalmodels and tests whether agreement in surface chlorophyll implies agreement in thevertical allocation of chlorophyll.
