1 Above-ground part Mungbean were labeled five weeks after planting and harvested at the beginning of pod setting and at maturity. Mungbean were divided into grain, stem, leaves and root, while oats were divided into above-ground part and root, and rhizodeposition. The abbreviation in the table represent different treatments. Sp: sole mungbean harvested at pod setting, Sm: sole mungbean harvested at maturity, Ip: intercropping system harvested at mungbean pod setting, and Im: intercropping system harvested at mungbean maturity.
