Animal husbandry embryo collection team

Article 3 of R.R. No 3/2003 regulates the authorisations granted to the “embryo collection team” as an organisation consisting of one or more technicians who, under the direction of a responsible veterinarian, also provides for the collection, treatment and storage of embryos of animals of zootechnical interest, including on behalf of third parties, of embryos of animals of zootechnical interest, with the exception of embryos conceived through in vitro fertilisation, and which also provides for the transfer of those embryos to receiving dams and/or distribution also through the contact details. The authorisations are valid until 2018.
