Modelling and Analyzing Effects of Raw Material Properties in Ironmaking Blast Furnaces

This thesis examines the effect burden material properties on the performance of ironmaking blast furnace. It established a novel framework composed of experiments, lab-scale numerical models and blast furnace process model for burden evaluation. It is beneficial for blast furnace process control and optimization, as well as for energy conservation and emission reduction in ironmaking.
