EQA test for immission measurement 2016

The report “Ring Test for Immission Measurement 2016” summarises the results of this EQA. The competence was tested in the measurement of carbon monoxide (CO), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NO and NO2). The measurement results of all 11 participating organisations have been subjected to the same statistical evaluation methods as is foreseen for the EQA tests of the European Reference Laboratories: according to the “Protocol for intercomparison exercises”, AQUILA document N37. Since February 2010, the Federal Environment Agency regularly offers operators of national and international air quality networks as well as measuring equipment manufacturers, civil engineers and laboratories for immission measurements the opportunity to check the measurement accuracy of their systems on different air pollutants in ring tests.
