RNA-seq of the larval fat bodies and the larval midgut cells of the scarab Anomala cuprea was performed. The homologues of the putative ABC transporter gene ORF of the parasitic virus Anomala cuprea entomopoxvirus were identified in the de novo assembled transcripts and then analyzed.
