Dataset for "LANDSCAPE-SCALE PREDICTORS OF MAMMAL DIVERSITY THROUGHOUT SANTA CATARINA ISLAND, SOUTHERN BRAZIL"

This dataset includes non-flying mammal occurrence data, environmental variables, and R scripts used in the analyses for the study "Landscape-scale predictors of mammal diversity throughout Santa Catarina Island, southern Brazil." Data were collected via ground-based camera traps deployed between October 2019 and December 2021, and environmental covariates were extracted and calculated using GIS tools. The dataset includes all R scripts used for data processing, modeling, and visualization. This research was conducted as part of the Fauna Floripa Project, an inter-institutional collaboration between FLORAM (Fundação Municipal do Meio Ambiente de Florianópolis), IMA (Instituto do Meio Ambiente de Santa Catarina), and the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). The project aims to assess biodiversity patterns and support conservation planning across Santa Catarina Island. Data will be made publicly available upon publication or at the end of the embargo period.
