Storms and Historic Submersions
收藏资源简介:
During REFMAR 2016 days, the interest of a multi-disciplinary working group (WG [http://refmar.shom.fr/evenements_remarquables/gt_tsh](http://refmar.shom.fr/evenements_remarquables/gt_tsh)) on the subject of historical submersions and storms was highlighted. Since then, engineers, researchers, statisticians and historians belonging to different organisations (IRSN, EDF, Shom, BRGM, ARTELIA, UPLC 17, CEREMA, LIENSs) have been meeting in the Working Group “Historical Storms and Submersions” (GT) with the aim of pooling information from historical storms and submersions in particular within a common database. The database developed by IRSN was selected by WG members as a tool for pooling inputs from each. IRSN initially ensures the management and maintenance of the base as well as the organisation of the WG. The BDDTSH (Historical Storm and Submersion Database) database lists all types of documents relating to historical storms or submersions on the Channel and Atlantic coasts and allows for rapid extraction of water levels or impacts mentioned in the springs. The data available in the database is entirely public, the historical storm and submersions comic is subject to open source license. The database lists more than 800 events in January 2021. A graphical interface is also available to view this data on [bddtsh.irsn.fr](https://bddtsh.irsn.fr ) The CSV file made available is a summary of the data visible on the site.
