3D city model Freiburg i. Br. — LoD2

A 3D city model is understood as a simplified and scale-to-scale three-dimensional model of a city or district, which is created with a special software. In this model, the real objects of the city are depicted with the highest possible accuracy and up-to-dateness. The level of detail (LoD) of a 3D city model indicates how exactly the objects of the city are reproduced in the model. — The degree of detail LoD2 depicts the buildings with standardised roof shapes such as saddle, walnut, mansard, desk or tent roofs. Above-ground buildings are modeled, without roof structures and without texture of the facades.
