资源简介:
Data Set Description
The projections for bilateral migration flows are available at 5-year intervals from 2015 to 2050 for combination of 2 sets of Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs) scenarios and 3 sets of Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) scenarios.
These data underpin the African
Shifts Report, produced by the ACMI and enabled by the Global Centre for
Climate Mobility (GCCM). The ACMI was launched in September 2021 as a
joint initiative of the GCCM, the African Union Commission (AUC), the
United Nations System (UN), and the World Bank.
The unit of analysis for the projections are directed migration corridor from an origin country to a receiving country in the African continent. There are 46 African countries and thus 2,070
unique directed corridors, for example from Kenya to Uganda. Flows from Africa to other regions of the world (i.e. Europe) are not modelled here.
The data are available in two different formats, raw data and summary files. The raw data are provided as a list of 10 data arrays, which provides probabilistic migration projections for each corridor at five-year intervals. The summary files are provided at both the corridor and continental (aggregate) level.
Data set format:
The raw data are available in RDS format for individual and cumulative flow projections. The downloadable is a compressed zip file containing: 1) RDS file, and 2) PDF Documentation.
