Untargeted metabolomics measurements were performed with a binary LC pump (Agilent Technologies) and a MPS2 Autosampler (Gerstel) coupled to an Agilent 6520 time-of-flight mass spectrometer (Agilent Technologies) operated in negative mode, at 4 Ghz, high resolution, with a m/z (mass/charge) range of 50-1,600. The mobile phase consisted of isopropanol:water (60:40, v/v) with 5 mM ammonium fluoride buffer at pH 9 at a flow rate of 150 ul/min.
