Canine skin bacterial microbiota associated with cutaneous malodor and effects of topical spot on product comprised of essential oils and essential fatty acids

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the bacterial microbiota on the skin of dogs with cutaneous malodor and to determine whether topical application of essential oils and essential fatty acids would both control the cutaneous malodor and produce a shift in the cutaneous bacterial microbiota.
