Shortwave flux profiles from DISORT and RRTMG-SW for tuning the diffusivity factor Uₐ(μ₀)

Dataset accompanying the manuscript “Solar zenith angle dependence of the diffusivity factor in shortwave two-stream radiative transfer”. It contains offline single-column shortwave output profiles for 31,082 atmospheric profiles (91 levels) used to tune and evaluate a solar-zenith-angle-dependent diffusivity factor Uₐ(μ₀) in RRTMG-SW. Seventeen night-time profiles are excluded from the statistics in the manuscript, which leaves 31,065.
