Square wave voltammetry measurements were conducted from 0.4 V to -0.3 V, with frequencies set at 10, 20, and 50 Hz, and pulse sizes 0.001, 0.002, 0.005, 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, and 0.25 V. The experiments were repeated at various step sizes, 0.001, 0.002, 0.005, and 0.01 V. For each experiment 50 ul of the electrolytic liquid was added to the working area of the sensor. After each experiment the sensor was washed three times with deionised water and left to dry before the next experiment was conducted. A concentration of 10 mM ferricyanide and 100 mM KCl in deionised water served as the electrolytic solution.The characterisation with the above-mentioned parameters for three different sensors are given, as well as the post hoc analysis of the frequency and pulse size effects.C-reactive protein was quantified at concentrations ranging from 100 ng/ml to 100 fg/ml with square wave voltammetry, with the resulting measurements being contained in the dataset.
