A program consisting of Participatory Ergonomics, Workplace Exercise and Physical Therapy was conducted for 22 months with 88 workers of a hearing aid company. The outcomes were complaints of musculoskeletal disorders and absenteeism measured by the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire. Outcomes were analyzed for 1) all eligible participants of the study, 2) only workers with MSDs at baseline, and 3) only workers without MSDs at baseline. We also measured workers’ perceptions about the intervention by using a Likert-based questionnaire addressing muscle pain, absenteeism, wellbeing/productivity at work and life habits.
