Distribution of mobile connections in Portugal 2023, by provider and type

In Portugal, MEO was the telecommunication service provider with the highest share of active mobile accesses with effective use in 2023, namely 38 percent. NOS followed, with a share of 30 percent, while Vodafone was in third place, with 28 percent. Machine to machine (M2M) telecommunications were also dominated by MEO, which presented a share of 51 percent, while NOS had 29 percent of mobile accesses and Vodafone 20 percent.
