Slots

Graphic representation of traction slots, transversal slots, radial slots, longitudinal slots. The recognition of such geomorphological information is of fundamental importance for the definition of the activity of slipping phenomena. They are in fact due to the different behaviour of materials with different elasticity affected by the movement or are due to the expansion of the material and consequent drying that tends to overcome the intersection of the breaking surface with the topographic surface.
