This study investigates the regulons of 11 pneumococcal response regulators (RRs) by RNA-sequencing of RR-overexpression mutants. Overall design: D39 wild type (WT), and RR-overexpression mutants (CEP:rr) was inoculated in triplicates in C+Y media and grown at 37°C to an OD 0.4 before RNA extraction.
