In this study we produced a high quality draft genome of Mesorhizobium sp. Sod10 (STM8789), isolated from nodules of Acacia senegal in Senegal (Diouf et al., unpublished). Sequences were produced using an Illumina Hiseq (2x100bp) with paired reads on fragments of 700 bp, on 1/3 lane (around 60 millions of reads, =2000X cover). Reads were assembled with CLC-Genomic workbench v5 and filtered on size (>500 bp) and cover (>200X).
