Commonality and differences in phylogeographic structure of two sympatric sister species of goby with high ecological similarity

RAD sequencing and mitochondrial sequencing of Chaenogobius gulosus were conducted to compare its phylogeographic structure with that of C. annularis, a sympatric sister species with high ecological similarity. This project aims to reassess the phylogeography of C. gulosus and demonstrate that spatiotemporal patterns of biodiversity can vary, even among species sharing similar phylogenetic, geographic, and ecological backgrounds.
