Amery Ice Shelf Grounding Line Datapoints Automated Extraction from Airborne Ice-penetrating Radar

We present a new grounding line product for the Amery Ice Shelf, derived from ice-penetrating radar data. The dataset consists of 85 grounding line points, automatically identified from 53 survey lines collected between 2017 and 2020. These points were extracted based on significant changes in radar echo reflections between the ice-bedrock and ice-seawater interfaces along continuous survey lines. A comparison between the radar-derived grounding line positions and satellite-based measurements shows a mean separation of 0.69 ± 0.70 km. The Radar-derived grounding line positions (85 points) dataset contains five attributes: latitude, longitude, point ID, ice thickness, and the radar data collection date.
