_{<strong>Dataset for: Serve Dynamics and Tactical Trends in Elite U-14 Girls’ Tennis: A Case Study from the Les Petits As Tournament</strong>}

This dataset supports the study <i>“Serve Dynamics and Tactical Trends in Elite U-14 Girls’ Tennis: A Case Study from the Les Petits As Tournament”</i> published in the <b>International Journal of Sports Science &amp; Coaching</b>. The research analyzes serve dynamics and tactical patterns in elite U-14 girls’ tennis, based on singles matches from the quarterfinals to the final of the <b>Les Petits As 2023</b> tournament.Using a structured observational methodology and the <b>OBSTENNIS-JUNIOR-S23</b> instrument, a total of <b>837 points</b> were systematically coded. Data were recorded and analyzed using <b>LINCE PLUS</b> and <b>THEME 6 Edu</b> software, with statistical processing conducted in <b>IBM SPSS Statistics</b>. Variables include serve type and placement, rally length, stroke characteristics, and point-ending outcomes.The repository contains a single file in <b>IBM SPSS Statistics (.sav) format</b>, enabling replication of the statistical analyses and facilitating further research on tactical development, serve effectiveness, and early rally control in elite junior girls’ tennis.
