Bro – Geotechnical probe research (CPT) as-is

This dataset contains the data on geotechnical probe studies that are included in the BRO (Basic Registration of Underground). The dataset is delivered in its entirety and is not harmonised to an INSPIRE theme. Geotechnical probe research (in English Cone Penetration Test, abbreviated to CPT) is research aimed at obtaining geotechnical information about the build-up of the subsurface, in which field measurements are made on the subsurface by pressing a conical probe into the ground. Traditionally, the purpose of the probe is to determine the resistance and friction that the cone experiences on the way down in order to derive mechanical properties from the substrate.
