VKBO Enterprises and Establishment Units

The Digital Flanders Agency maintains a copy of the Kruispunt bank van Ondernemingen (KBO), which is the authentic source from which all basic data from enterprises and establishment units have been collected. This copy is enriched with additional data from other relevant sources, resulting in an enriched database called the VKBO managed by the Digital Flanders Agency. One of these additions is the translation of the address from KBO to address (es) and address position (s) according to the CRAB standard (Central Reference Address File) in so far as the quality of the address in KBO allows for a translation. This dataset allows for a picture of the enterprises and units of establishment in the map (limited to the publicly available data). This concerns all companies with a KBO status active, an address in Flanders and of the type of legal entity. In addition, all establishment units with KBO status active, an address in Flanders and related to the enterprises type of natural and legal person with an SME status active.
