An open data catalog of persistent thermal anomalies in Sicily (volcanoes, refineries, glasshouses, solar farms, quarries, urban heat islands) that commonly cause false-positive wildfire detections from satellite thermal sensors (NASA FIRMS-VIIRS/MODIS, EUMETSAT MTG-FCI, Sentinel-3 SLSTR). Built by the PHOENIX research wildfire-detection system at https://adr-wildfire.com/ via algorithmic mining + AI-vision classification (Claude Sonnet 4.5) + OpenStreetMap cross-reference.
