Third-country nationals; obligation to and demonstrable departure, wet. 2015-2021

This table contains figures on the number of third-country nationals against whom a return decision has been issued. This table concerns third-country nationals who no longer have the right to reside in the Netherlands and have received a return decision with the obligation to leave the Netherlands within a certain period of time. The moment of issuing the return decision is separate from the moment when a demonstrable departure has taken place. Third-country nationals are persons of a nationality other than that of one of the Member States of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland. Stateless persons are also counted among third-country nationals. The data have been compiled for the benefit of Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Union. Data available from: 2015. Status of the figures: The figures up to 2020 are final and the figures for 2021 are provisional. Amendments as of November 2022: None, this table has been discontinued.
