资源简介:
A transitional water body is a distinct and significant part of surface waters located near the mouths of rivers or rivers, which are partly salty because of their proximity to coastal waters but which remain fundamentally influenced by fresh water currents, constituting the elementary division of aquatic environments intended to be the WFD assessment unit. DCE reporting correspondence: this entity corresponds to the Surface Water Body (SWB) concept of WISE where the attribute ‘specialisedZoneType’ = ‘transitionalWaterBody’. The layers are distributed in a format consistent with the SANDRE Data Dictionary of the Water Body Reference, version 1.4.
