Air pollutant reduction in construction sites

With this report, the Federal Environment Agency provides contracting authorities with the basis for building tenders to reduce the emissions of air pollutants at construction sites. Possible measures to reduce the pollution of air pollutants derived from Austrian and European guidelines and studies will be examined whether they are practicable and feasible and whether they can also be controlled. The legal situation for procurements and already implemented requirements as well as their compliance with construction sites are also collected. To support tenders, the report offers text modules, which include award criteria, selection and essential criteria, and contractual clauses with sanctioning possibilities, including construction site traffic, recycling and demolition work.
