Atherosclerosis Dataset

This dataset is derived from a 20-year study aimed at analyzing the risk factors of atherosclerosis among a cohort of 1,419 middle-aged males. The study participants were divided into three groups: normal, at-risk, and pathological. The dataset features include systolic blood pressure, triglycerides, total cholesterol, diastolic blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), body weight, gallstones, alcohol intake, and tobacco consumption, among other relevant metrics. This dataset achieves an F1-score of 0.68 for predicting negative risk instances, and an F1-score as high as 0.91 for predicting positive risk instances. Centered on 1,419 participants, this dataset is designed for the task of atherosclerosis risk prediction, with the additional goal of providing actionable recommendations for risk reduction.
