From 2015 to 2023, the number of visitors to the Savonlinna Opera Festival in Finland decreased overall. In 2023, approximately 61.200 people visited the cultural event. It is organized annually in the city of Savonlinna in Eastern Finland. The Savonlinna Opera Festival was canceled in 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, some acts were postponed or canceled, others were streamed on online platforms.
