Inventory analysis and forest monitoring in Gesäuse National Park — First survey 2016

Forest restoration measures are implemented in the management zone of the Gesäuse National Park. Forest areas are transferred to a more natural state by the targeted and controlled extraction of spruce in particular with regard to the tree species composition. On the basis of selected sub-areas, the development is documented as part of a monitoring system or the achievement of the target is to be evaluated.
