The dataset comprises results of cure kinetics, glass transition temperature development, and chemorheology for novel polybenzoxazine vitrimer for fibre-reinforced composite. The heading of each column contains the quantity measured and the unit of measurement.The cure kinetics dataset (Cure-kinetics-dataset.xlsx) consists of time-temperature profiles and degrees of cure measured, together with the associated reaction rate data for 3 dynamic DSC experiments (2.5, 5 and 10°C/min) and 5 isothermal DSC experiments (150, 160, 170, 180 and 190°C). Experimental results for each temperature and rate are presented in a separate spreadsheet.The chemorheology dataset (Chemorheology-dataset.xlsx) consists of time, temperature and viscosity profile for 4 isothermal flow rheology (100, 110, 120 and 130°C). Experimental results for each temperature are presented in a separate spreadsheet.The Cure rheology dataset (Cure rheology-dataset.xlsx) comprises time, temperature and viscosity profiles for advanced stages of cure. The rheological behaviour at 130 and 150°C are shown in separate spreadsheets. The Tg advancement dataset (Tg-advancement-dataset.xlsx) contains time, temperature and heat flow profiles for 11 experiments carried out on 10 partially cured samples and 1 uncured sample. The data – collected from 10°C/min dynamic DSC ramp of samples – are organised in spreadsheets per DSC test; the thermal profiles prior to the experiments are as follows:- Tg_uncured sample: DSC of uncured resin- Tg_1.25°C-min-146°C: DSC of resin partially cured at 1.25°C/min from -50°C to 146°C.- Tg_1.25°C-min-153°C: DSC of resin partially cured at 1.25°C/min from -50°C to 153°C.- Tg_1.25°C-min-158°C: DSC of resin partially cured at 1.25°C/min from -50°C to 158°C.- Tg_1.25°C-min-162°C: DSC of resin partially cured at 1.25°C/min from -50°C to 162°C.- Tg_1.25°C-min-167°C: DSC of resin partially cured at 1.25°C/min from -50°C to 167°C.- Tg_1.25°C-min-173°C: DSC of resin partially cured at 1.25°C/min from -50°C to 173°C.- Tg_1.25°C-min-179°C: DSC of resin partially cured at 1.25°C/min from -50°C to 179°C.- Tg_1.25°C-min-185°C: DSC of resin partially cured at 1.25°C/min from -50°C to 185°C.- Tg_1.25°C-min-194°C: DSC of resin partially cured at 1.25°C/min from -50°C to 194°C.- Tg_170°C; 2h_190°C; 30min: DSC of resin cured isothermally at 170°C for 2 hours and post-cured at 190°C for 30 minutes.
