Integrated Dataset on the Screening and Cognitive Assessment of Giftedness Among Schoolchildren: "Giftedness Profile" Questionnaire and Shortened Wechsler Test (n = 1366)

This integrated dataset contains anonymized diagnostic data collected from 1366 schoolchildren aged 6 to 17 as part of a two-stage assessment of giftedness. The dataset includes: Screening stage:“Giftedness Profile” Questionnaire — a multi-age diagnostic tool (6–10, 10–15, 16–17 years) assessing behavioral, motivational, cognitive, artistic, physical, leadership, social, and technical indicators of giftedness. Follow-up cognitive stage:A shortened, culturally adapted version of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children administered to students who demonstrated indicators of intellectual and academic giftedness during screening. The data were collected across four educational organizations representing diverse contexts (urban, specialized, rural): СОШ №17, Pavlodar (n = 532) СОШ №36, Pavlodar (n = 294) “Zhas Daryn” Gymnasium for Gifted Children (n = 385) Michurinskaya Rural School (n = 201) All procedures were approved by the Margulan University Ethics Committee and conducted by trained specialists in accordance with ethical, methodological, and psychometric standards.
