资源简介:
The Registers of Plan Lodgement contain summary information which indexes plan numbers against a series of other fields used for titling and registration purposes. These fields can include date of lodgement, lodging party, surveyor, registered proprietor or owner, name of relevant Local Government Authority (Municipality, Shire or Council), previous plan number, Local Government Authority approval and date of registration. The introduction of the Real Property Act on 1 January 1863 required lodgement of plans by registered (licensed) surveyors with the Registrar General when subdividing land subject to the Real Property Act or when lodging a primary application. Plans lodged include plans which affect Real Property (Torrens Title) land, Old System land (including Old System conversions and unconverted land) and Crown Land. The purpose of a plan could vary from Old System or Torrens Subdivision, Strata Subdivision, Acquisition, Lease boundaries, Easements, Primary Application, Redefinition plans and Consolidation Plans.Early registers covering lodgement of Deposited Plans from 1863 up to 1920 may include a reference to the title of the land being subdivided, Parish or County (as well as occasionally Local Government Authority) information to indicate locality in relation to the lodged plan. The plans also record the dealing number with which the plan was associated and the date that the dealing was registered. Local Government Authority (Municipality, Shire or Council) information was used commonly from 1920 due to the introduction of the Local Government Act 1919, introduced on 1 July 1920.From 1920 lodgement dates (indicating when the plan was lodged with the Registrar General) were recorded in the registers. In 1961 registration dates were introduced which indicate when the plan was accepted after examination and officially became the legal document relied on for boundary definition.
