European Water Framework Directive (EC-WFD): Causes of failure to achieve good status of surface water bodies (OWK), management cycle 2009-2015

The maps contain information on the causes of non-achievement of the good condition of WFD-relevant surface water bodies (flowing waters with catchment area > 10 km², standing water > 50 ha) in the Free State of Thuringia. In accordance with the causes identified, measures have been deduced that are appropriate to remedy the corresponding deficits. Priority waters were defined in the first management cycle (2009 to 2015) for the implementation of measures to address the deficits in the water structure and continuity.
