Diformylxylose as a new polar aprotic solvent produced from renewable biomass

The dataset contains raw data used to make the Figures and Tables in the main article and ESI. Specifically, it includes UV-spectra obtained in the mentioned dyes and used to calculate solvatochromic parameters, raw data produced by COSMO-RS software (charge density, settings, sigma profile and sigma potentials), raw GC-FID data used for quantifying Menshutkin reaction, raw data on acid stability of DFX, as well as raw data obtained during the toxicology test (Ames test).
