Witchcraft accusations in sub-Saharan Africa

This is a dataset with variables relating to historic accounts of witchcraft accusations. They were coded from ethnographies of sub-Saharan African societies from Bantu, Bantoid and Benue-Congo language families. Some variables are amended versions from Murdock's Ethnographic Atlas, available on d-place.org.
