资源简介:
In this study, we used polystyrene (PS) MPs as a representative type of microplastics that are commonly detected in livestock and poultry manure. The accumulation, distribution, and transfer of heavy metals with or without PS MPs into flesh fly larvae were determined, which were cultured in bovine liver, chicken and swine manure. Furthermore, the effects of PS MPs on the composition and abundance of gut microbiota in flesh fly larvae were evaluated. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of MPs pollution on the heavy metal accumulation and response by flesh fly larvae in the process of transforming livestock and poultry manure, and to provide new insights for the resource utilization and environmental safety assessment of livestock and poultry manure.
