The prime function of the Bureau, as described in the Minutes, was to facilitate the flow of departmental advice to voluntarily organised groups as a practical education service, through lectures, discussions, conferences, by arranging for experiment plots, field trials, field days, and in the general development of co-operatives. The Minutes contain reports on various branch activities and events, financial statements, general business, special business, correspondence and attendance details.
