Data obtained in the study "Attitudes towards the use of virtual simulators in the preclinical stage of dentistry among 2nd and 4th year students and lecturers of the RSU Dentistry program"

The aim of the study is to evaluate the attitudes of Riga Stradiņš University dentistry students and faculty members towards the use of haptic virtual reality simulators in the preclinical course, depending on clinical experience, academic performance, time spent on simulators, and overall attitude towards the university, as well as to determine the preferred proportion of simulator use. The study included 68 respondents. Data were collected using a structured anonymous questionnaire completed by 2nd- and 4th-year students of the Faculty of Dentistry at Riga Stradiņš University, as well as faculty members.
