Fluxes of evapotranspiration (ET) and carbon dioxide were measured by eddy covariance methods over a subtropical peat marsh in Florida, USA from 12/11/2009 to 10/20/2014. Evapotranspiration and net ecosystem exchange of carbon dioxide were measured using the eddy covariance method (Methane fluxes were also measured by eddy covariance beginning in February 2013). Eddy covariance sensors included a sonic anemometer for 3-dimensional wind measurements (CSAT-3, Campbell Scientific, Inc., Logan, UT USA), an open-path infrared gas analyzer for CO2 and water vapor (LI-7500 and 7500A, Licor, Inc., Lincoln, NE USA) and an open-path methane analyzer (LI-7700, Licor, Inc., Lincoln, NE USA). Sensors were mounted at a height of 4.27 m. Ancillary meteorological measurements included incoming solar radiation, net radiation, air temperature, relative humidity and water level.
