in vitro mammalian cell models were amenable to clonal expansion, namely mouse embryonic fibroblasts and human foreskin fibroblasts. primary cells were irradiated using a UV-gel curing device for 20 minutes in repetitive sessions. We aimed to address public health concerns regarding the implementation of UV radiation in various fields of applications, bringing more human to direct exposure to UV. WGS data was used for deciphering the mutational signatures in vitro and match it with the human skin cancer data repositories
